For Wizards of the Coast’s Kamigawa Neon Dynasty I had the honor of developing the look and feel for most of the sets campaign look and feel. This sets aesthetic intersects perfectly where I stand, so it was a labor of love to produce assets to be used across the entire marketing campaign, from Teaser trailer, promotional videos lower thirds, titles and paid media to print posters, social posts and Amazon graphics. These assets went far and wide, enabling one cohesive campaign look and feel.

Every once in a while a project comes up that lands at an intersection where I live and thrive. This Spark AR project needed 3D art, 3D Animation, and Technical Artistry and Design. As a generalist, the type of project I’m more than happy to execute. The brief for this project was fairly simple, for the Double Masters release, Wizards of the Coast wanted to release a pair of Instagram filters that engaged players to choose a faction, Angel or Devil, to celebrate a widely anticipated release for a set packed with powerful cards.

As a personal art project, I decided to create a statue of a game character that I had come to enjoy playing. Paragon is a hero / action based MOBA, that I had been playing, and had become fond of a particular hero: Grux. I have built characters for games before, but I had never tried anything high resolution, and I am deeply interested in 3D printing, so I decided to dive in. I decided part way through to begin documenting, so this doesn't encompass everything, but it gets most of the process.
